• Products entered must be for human consumption.
• Product must be provided in it’s foodservice packaging for the judging commencing week July 25th 2011. All products must be sent to Croydon college week commencing July 18th 2011.
• Products must be ready for sale in UK outlets by July 1st 2011- products still at the development stage are not eligible.
• Products submitted to the judges must have been made according to standard production procedures and in no way differ from those sold to the industry.
• There is no limit to the number of entries per company and any product on sale is eligible for entry. Every product entered must be accompanied by a separate form and competition entry fee, payment must be received before the judging week otherwise the entry will not be accepted.
• Ranges of products do not qualify. If you wish to enter a range, please specify which flavour you wish the judges to taste or enter each product separately.
• The organisers undertake to prepare products for tasting according to the printed instructions on the packs in which the products are sold. It is the duty of the manufacturer to supply full cooking instructions with each product sample sent for judging.
• The organiser reserves the right to change the categories and the judging panel without notice to entrants.
• The organiser reserves the right to accept or reject entries.
• The decision of the judging panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• It is a condition of entry that all entrants will be bound by these rules.
